Hi!  My name is Beth and I’m so excited to be here!

I am a wife and a mother to two beautiful kiddos.  I started gymnastics at the age of 5 and basically lived at the gym for the next 10 years of my life.  I switched from gymnastics to dance in high school, and dance quickly became my world.  I danced with the Lindenwood Lionettes for 1 year before auditioning for a professional local dance company.  I danced professionally with Ashleyliane Dance Company for a total of 6 years before officially retiring in 2015.

Following my retirement from dance, I was looking for new ways to stretch and move my body.  And then YOGA happened!  I took my first yoga class a little over 2 years ago, and instantly I was hooked!  I began making my way to class 3-5 times a week, and developed a home practice as well.  I made the decision to register for a 200 Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in August 2017, and I just completed the training and graduated this past November.  Yoga has changed my life in more ways than I can count, and I am so grateful for this practice.  And for that reason, I am so eager to spread my knowledge and voice!

I have a B.S. degree in Behavioral Science from Missouri Baptist University, which I truly believe has assisted in my yoga teaching and practice.  My yoga style is much like dance in many ways; by allowing the breath to initiate movement, the flow is transitional and seamless.  I tend to focus heavily on muscle engagement and awareness of the body in space to encourage correct alignment and safety.
