We had so many awesome accomplishments the last few weeks, it's hard to keep track of them all. Let's start with some rope climbs. We had so many people finally get up the rope part of the way or all of the way; unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to video or take pics of all the accomplishments. Great work everyone!!
Fantastic job on all the hard work performing cartwheels and handstands. Some of you even did handstand walks in a wod for the first time!
We had lots of athletes sign up for SugarWod -- It's a great way to stay connected and share results with each other and is also used to keep track of your own individual progress and PRs. For those of you that are just learning how to use it - it's a free iPhone app. When signing up, you look for Endless and join. When you post a WOD - scaled is for modifications and Rx is for anyone that did the wod without modification.
Speaking of Rx - we had quite a few hit their first Rx WOD. Congrats!!!!!!
We had a few athletes hit a new threshold the past couple of weeks! Keep at it! You are doing Awesome!!!
Brought some old gymnastic drills out of the archives to help teach the bar muscle ups. Larkyn & Emily are on the right track!
Rachel A and Aaron K have been hosting Athletic Development classes and, so for, it's been a hit. Inquire if interested in having your children attend.
We have started a new strength program and working on clean & jerks and snatches. I know it's frustrating for some of you that are learning these lifts for the first time. Be patient, it will come!
It's official, we can fit a crap load of peeps on the rig as shown in the pic - this isn't even the biggest class...which was probably a crap load and a half....not sure about crap-load measurements LOL! Congrats on all the first-time Rx pullups and the lowering of bands. Stronger everyday!!!
Had a great turnout for the 4th of July WOD! Congrats all that endured! It was a doozy!
