HERE IS A STORY OF HIS JOURNEY - IN HIS OWN WORDS...
Crossfit. Where do I start? Well it all began on my couch. My Aunt Jeanna and Uncle Louie started crossfit. Of course if you know my uncle he is very persistent and in many ways can be a jerk. I am glad for that part. Majority of my life I have been over weight and struggled with motivation. It was at that point in my life my uncle forced Insanity on me. “Do your best and by the end you won’t think it’s hard anymore”, is what he said. Well I lost 40 pounds and felt great, but found myself back on the couch unmotivated. So here we go persistent Louie. I have to admit the reason I first came was so he wouldn’t call me anymore names. My first workout was Cindy and it was very difficult but it brought me back for more.
Mike and Kim are very into form. My first few weeks was all about getting me crossfit ready. Many of the lifts and moves were uncomfortable and hard. If I can give anyone advice listen to the coaches. At first I wanted to beat my uncle and I did not worry about form but I was not seeing any gains on my strength. This is when I decided to focus on form and LISTEN. I am now about 8 months into crossfit and I am addicted. I can see transformation in my body. I have confidence that I never thought I would and I can do things with my body that I never imagined. Handstands is something that I enjoy working on but was nervous to do. Every day is a challenge and never gets old. I thank God for bringing me to crossfit. I am thankful for Mike and Kim and my Endless Crossfit Family. Shout out to my 3 O’clock family!!!!
