I have a background in some high school sports, was a cheerleader, and coached competitive level USA Junior Olympic Gymnastics for approximately 12 years.
I was introduced to CrossFit in 2009-10 and have never looked back. I did a few competitions then had a few health setbacks preventing other competitions. My true passion is training and sharing the fitness of health with others. The reward of helping others become as healthy and fit as they can be far outweighs my competitive aspirations.
I coached many gymnasts to the state and regional podium for several years and missed that atmosphere of being a part of helping someone be the best they can be. My goals, although very different now, still lean toward helping each and every athlete, regardless of age, gender, and/or skill level, reach their specific needs--whether it be becoming more functional, mobile, healthy, and/or competitive.
I am not the best athlete and I have no true desire of being a regional or games competitor; however, I am constantly evolving and learning each and every day to bring the best I can to our members who may have that dream. I have experience in coaching gymnastic skills and have been told I have a great eye for mechanics of movement from other top gymnastic coaches and Olympic level judges from around the country . My goal is to bring that same eye for mechanics to Endless each and every day.
Although gymnastics is my passion, I truly believe in CrossFit and am constantly looking for ways to harness that knowledge and bring it to the Crossfit arena. Every day is a new chapter and I look forward to working with each an every athlete.
